We currently have a NZQA (non-unit standard but certificate based) programs available on line New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing- Health Assistance Strand (Level 3)

This programme is 22 weeks long, and students are required to complete a minimum of 100/200 hours of paid or voluntary field experience in a healthcare setting if you choose the Blended Learning study mode. For all online study, you are not required to do any practical field experience.
Students will complete nine academic courses during this time. Each course is 2-3 weeks long, and has an assessment task at the end of each one. Course work will require approximately 10 hours of online study per week.
Students can study via NZTC Online, our highly interactive and user friendly online learning platform. This means no interruptions to existing work and personal life commitments! Through NZTC Online, students will have access to educational videos, interactive learning activities, journal reflections, and online discussion forums. On top of this we have academic and pastoral staff who are available to support students throughout their studies.
