We would like to invite your students and families to a FREE Information Evening in Christchurch, on Thursday, 7th May. The session is being held at the Kiwi Family Trust, 420 Saint Asaph Street, Phillipstown, Christchurch and starts at 7:00pm.
Students can find out more about our exchange programs to over 25 countries, listen to former exchange students share their experience and learn about our scholarships and discounts on offer in 2015.

Careers Expo 2015 at the Horncastle Arena
ALL YEAR 12 STUDENTS will visit Careers Expo during Period 3 on Thursday 7 May. Year 12 students please board buses at Kahu Road by tennis courts at the beginning on Interval – please report promptly. Return buses will leave Horncastle Arena at 12.10 in time to transport you back to school in time for Period 3.
STUDENTS OF ALL LEVELS are welcome to attend Careers Expo during Public Hours: after school through to 7pm on Thursday 7 May OR 10am to 3pm on Saturday 9 May.
Staff from Victoria University will be in C4 at 8:35 – 9:25 am Wed 13th May. Any senior student considering studying in Wellington should attend this presentation.
Musical Arts for a Day!
CPIT are looking to host students who may seriously be thinking of pursuing a music career
and to give them a taste of what it would be like to train in a Music School.
This year CPIT will be giving students the chance to experience a day in the life of a BMusArts
student. The day begins at 11am and will finish at approximately 4:00 pm. There will be a
lunch break at 12.00pm and students will be able to purchase food from the campus cafeteria
as well as a number of other food establishments.
Students will observe our current BMusArts students in a variety of activities and will
have the opportunity to ask both tutors and students any questions about the course that they

There will be a presentation by staff from Otago University in T3 this Wed 1st April 8:35 – 9:20am. All students in Yr. 11, 12 and 13 considering studying at Otago University when they leave school should attend this presentation.
The University of Cantetbury will be giving a presentation in T3 this Wed, 18th March 8:35-9:20am. All senior students considering studying at UC should attend. Parents are also welcome.
The Canterbury Development Corporation is offering a free 90 minute session with Claudia Batten at Burnside High School on Friday March 20th beginning at 3.30pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity to hear a home grown global entrepreneur talk about the application of digital technologies across the breadth of the work landscape.
