Police Careers Talk

Police Careers Talk – Monday 26th August, 1.05pm (during Kaitiaki) in the Big Room. If you are interested in learning all about careers with the Police then come along and hear from existing Police Officers what it is really like. Police Officers and Dog Handlers will be here to answer all your questions about joining the Police. All students welcome to attend.

Staff from the University of Canterbury will be in the Straven Building to assist Yr. 13 students plan out their 1st year papers. This is a great opportunity to get advice on what papers are best suited to your area of interest.

The University of Canterbury Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities and the Christchurch City Council Heritage Team are pleased to present Careers in Heritage on Thursday 22 August 2019 at the Teece Museum, 3 Hereford St, Christchurch.

This FREE event for Year 10-13 students will introduce them to the many and varied careers in heritage, arts and culture. Guest speakers from across the sector will discuss their jobs, and let students know what skills or qualifications they would need to do similar work. A complimentary light afternoon tea will be served, and there will be opportunities for students to mingle with the speakers and ask questions. Speakers will include:
