Lincoln University Agriventures Programme
Agriventures is Lincoln’s finest new student-led initiative developed this year as part of the Lincoln University Future Leader Scholarship Programme. As a component of the Scholarship, students are required to initiate an event or opportunity for Lincoln or the wider community.
Agriventures aims to offer Year 11 and 12 high school students primarily from the South Island an opportunity to explore and discover the extensive array of career opportunities within the agricultural/agribusiness sector. The programme will be held from the 17th to the 19th of July 2017, during which time participating students will experience university life at Lincoln by staying on campus and having the opportunity to eat and chat with current Lincoln University students. Participating students will also have ample opportunities to talk with Lincoln University lecturers and industry leaders. The group will be accompanied by Lincoln University Future Leaders throughout the entire programme.
There is no direct cost involved in this programme. All we ask is that participating students find their own way to and from the event.
