CLASSIC KIWI CAMP VOLUNTEER: If border closures have stymied your plans for a ‘summer camp’ opportunity, think your own backyard with this opportunity at Living Springs.  You will spend four  months in beautiful surroundings, meet lots of people and go on adventures.  Second intake of volunteers beings in late August.  Be a positive role model to kids and camp, gain experience and building your CV.  This role is listed under the category ‘youth/children’ on the Volunteering Canterbury database, www.volcanmatch.com.

ANNUAL APPEAL COLLECTOR: Aviva’s Annual Street Appeal will take place on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 May 2021.  Sites will be outside supermarkets, at Malls and on the streets.  Join a team of over 120 people across the sites for a two hour shift which will make a difference to this organisation which supports people within our community to live violence free lives.  This role is listed under the category ‘public contact’ on the Volunteering Canterbury database, www.volcanmatch.com.

SHOP ASSISTANT:  Gain some retail and communication skills by helping out at this amazing venue for all things creative.  If you are interested in recycling and/or have some arts/crafts skills, this will be an advantage!  Three hour shifts available including on Saturday mornings.  References available after a commitment of six months.
